Nevada Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael L. Douglas, whose legal and judicial career has been marked by his dedication to ensuring access to justice for all, is the 2011 recipient of the Liberty Bell Award from the Clark County Law Foundation. Clark County Bar Association Board Member and Community Service Committee member Linda Bullen said she was excited that a jurist dedicated to serving the community through law-related education was the Liberty Bell recipient. "In addition to being an outstanding jurist, Justice Michael Douglas has, for decades, made innumerable contributions to the Nevada Law Foundation, the Nevada State Bar, the National Bar Association, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, youth education endeavors and has fought tirelessly against domestic violence,: Ms. Bullen said. “The CCLF is proud to honor him as this year's winner of the Liberty Bell award."
